16W Constant Current LED Power Supply with PFC Function PLD-16 Series

Introduction:

After the launch of AC/DC LED power supply with constant current (C.C.) mode and PFC function ~ PLD-25 series (25W), MEAN WELL continuous to introduce PLD-16 series (16W) to fulfill the lower wattage demand of LED indoor/ decorative lighting market. Thanks to the simplified single stage PFC topology, the required high power factor (PF>0.9) can be achieved economically.

PLD-16 series can be used in 115VAC or 230VAC utility power regions, and also fulfills the usage of 277VAC main power system in North America. With constant current (C.C.) output, the efficiency of these new models are as high as 86% and hence can operate between -30 ~ +50℃ by only free air convection. All series are semi-potted for PCB protection (IP30 level) to provide the basic ability of anti-moisture, anti-dust as well as heat-conduction purpose. With double insolated two wires input design (Class II, no FG), these LED drivers are enclosed by plastic case with 94V-0 fire prevention level, which can protect the users against electric shock. In addition, these series comply with global certificates per UL8750, EN61347-2-13, and EN62384 and also meet with major lighting regulations such as CE and FCC, which are perfectly suitable for LED-based indoor lighting and decorative lighting applications.

120W/150W Economical Slim Din Rail Power Supply EDR-120/150 NDR-120 Series

Introduction:

MEAN WELL EDR-75 and NDR-75 series have been prevailing in the industrial control field since they were released to the market. In order to make the economical slim DIN rail power supply a complete product line, MEAN WELL unveils EDR-120 and NDR-120, with the 120W rated power, and EDR-150, with the power up to 156W. Adopting the same enclosure design with 40mm width, EDR-120, NDR-120 and EDR-150 are able to be installed on DIN rail TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15. They are the ideal power supply models for the cabinets with a limited width.

These three series accepts the full range 90~264VAC input. On the output end, EDR-120 and NDR-120 offer three different DC voltage, 12V, 24V and 48V, whereas EDR-150 the single 24V. 

These three series are designed without the built-in fan. Thanks to the efficiency up to 88.5%(EDR-120), 87%(EDR-150) and 89% (NDR-120), with the cooling by free air convection, they can operate under -20~+60℃ (EDR-120 and EDR-150) and -20~+70℃ (NDR-120), respectively. Other functions comprise short circuit protection, overload protection (constant current limiting output*), over voltage protection, over temperature protection, and front panel DC voltage adjustment. These three series are certified with UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE safety regulations and observe EN61000-6-2, the heavy industry grade EMS (Electro Magnetic Susceptibility) standard. Regarding EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference), EN55022 Class A (EDR-120 and EDR-150) and Class B(NDR-120) are followed, respectively. 500W Off-Grid True Sine Wave Solar Inverter ISI-501 Series

Introduction:

MEAN WELL introduced 500W DC/AC true sine wave inverter with MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) solar charger~ ISI-501 series. This off-grid solar inverter can be constructed as an energy-saving power station by only adding external lead-acid batteries and solar panels. Through the built-in MPPT solar charger, “free energy” from the sun can be stored into the battery bank by solar panels and then transformed to AC output via its inverter stage, which can conserve the energy consumption. ISI-501 series can provide 500W rated power continuously (450W for 12VDC) for all kinds of electric devices. Peak load capability includes 110% rated power for 1 minute and high surge power up to 200% rated value for 30 utility cycles.

Digitally controlled by microprocessor and designed by high frequency topology, ISI-501 is light weight and possesses up to 88% of high efficiency. Introduction:

After the launched products of MSP-100, MSP-200, MSP-300 and MSP-450 series, MEAN WELL further introduced the 600W AC/DC medical enclosed type power supply~MSP-600 series, in response to the high wattage requirement of reliable medical power supplies. 40W/60W Multiple-stage Constant Current Output LED Driver LCM-40U(DA) and LCM-60U(DA)

Indutroduction:

LCM-40(DA)/60(DA), the 180~295VAC input LED drivers of MEAN WELL have received outstanding market feedback since being released to the market. In order to fulfill the requirements of countries or areas which accept 115VAC input, MEAN WELL is pleased to unveil the LCM-40U(DA)/60U(DA) series which accept 90~132VAC input.

The enclosure design and the output specification of these two products all follow the LCM-40(DA)/60(DA) series, complying with UL8750 safety regulations, adopting constant current (C.C.) output mode, flexibly switching different output current levels by the built-in DIP switch; adopting rectangular low profile (23mm) plastic case, the I/O connections are on the same side, which allow system designers a more convenient wiring installation within limited space; with the built-in temperature compensation function, by connecting an external temperature sensor (NTC resistor) between the NTC+/- terminals the output current could be correspondingly changed with the detected temperature to ensure the long lifetime of LED lighting luminaires. In addition, they are equipped with synchronization dimming function that 10 drivers (max.) can be operated synchronously to make consistent the dimming control signal of LED lighting systems with multiple drivers.

The basic models, LCM-40U/60U, are designed with built-in 3-in-1 dimming function (0~10VDC, PWM signal or resistance), while the digital control models, LCM-40UDA/60UDA, are embedded with DALI interface and push dimming function which is in compliance with IEC62386-101, 102, 207 norms per DALI lighting control systems so as to meet the increasing dimming demands for intelligent control applications from LED lighting market.
